The Next Generation

32 years ago Tim Greening and Glenn Rowley, the directors of KE Adventure Travel trekked for the first time to Concordia and K2 in the Karakoram mountains of Pakistan. At that time very few people were trekking in this spectacular mountain region and Tim and Glenn, together with Mohammed Iqbal, their guide from that first trip, set up the ‘Karakoram Experience’ to take British trekkers into the ‘Throne Room of the Mountain Gods’.

Cut to the present day and the ‘Karakoram Experience’ has become ‘KE’ and we now organise adventure holidays on all seven continents. The secrets of our success are the passion of all our staff for adventure travel and the excellent relationship we have with our ground agents. In Pakistan our operation is now looked after by Mohammed Iqbal’s son, Zafar Iqbal who this September married his beautiful bride.
