Job Vacancy - Adventure Travel Consultants (Sales) & Executives

KE Adventure Travel is looking for enthusiastic adventure travel consultants (sales) & executives to join our growing team.

Who are KE?

KE Adventure Travel has been operating active adventure holidays throughout the world since 1984. It has grown to be one of the most renowned adventure tour operators in the UK and is one of the market leaders in this sector. The office is in beautiful Keswick in the Northern Lake District.

Anyone joining the company is likely to be passionate about adventure travel and the outdoors. They must also be dedicated to protecting the environment and supporting the company’s pledge to reduce greenhouse gas emissions over the next decade.

The Roles

We are recruiting for a number of roles in our busy Customer Sales and Support team. If you are a people person with a natural ability to deliver exceptional levels of customer service, we would love to hear from you. Especially if you have adventure travel experience and a love of the outdoors.

Reporting to

Customer Sales & Support Manager

As an Adventure Travel Consultant you will be sales-focussed, and driven to optimise sales, whilst delivering a fantastic customer experience.

As an Adventure Travel Executive you will support the sales team and work directly with customers to ensure that all arrangements are in place to enable them to have the very best travel experience possible.

Working Hours and Location

We are recruiting for full-time roles (37.5hrs), but will consider applications from those wishing to work part-time, or with non-standard hours.

Standard hours are generally 09:00 to 17:30, but both roles will include some late shifts and Saturdays on a rota basis. These roles are to be ideally based in our office/shop in Keswick, Cumbria.

We are currently hybrid working, and expect this to continue (for those who would like to), with the balance of office and home working being continually reviewed as the needs of customers, the business and team members evolve.

Being flexible is key. We are a relatively small team and it’s a seasonal business, so all team members must be willing to help/support other roles or parts of the business at any time.

Travel

Both roles will involve some occasional overseas travel.
